7. Assembly

Before switching the machine ON ensure that the machine is fixed to
the work bench. There are two holes located in the base of the machine
to secure in place, do not over tighten any fixings as this could cause
vibration. There are four pre-installed rubber feet which will act as shock
absorbers.
Note: Ensure the machine is unplugged before assembly.
Attaching each wheel to the machine.
Firstly, attach the flange washer to the machine shaft in the correct
orientation, as shown in
Fig 8.1
. Next attach the buffing wheel onto the
machine shaft, as shown in
Fig 8.2.
Then, attach the flange washer and spacer collar to the machine, followed
by the R/H 16 mm nut by rotating clockwise, as shown in
Fig 8.3
. Do not
fully tighten.
Repeat the process for the opposing side and attach the L/H 16 mm nut by
rotating anti-clockwise.
Both the L/H and R/H 16 mm nuts can now be fully tightened.
