***You can run Energizer Ultimate Lithium
batteries in the camera while its plugged into the
Solar Power Unit. The batteries will act as a backup.
The camera will automatically use the best power
source.

Getting Started
1.
Attach the Solar Panel to the Mounting
Bracket using the provided hardware
(See Image 1).
2.
Mount the Solar Panel bracket and battery
box in your desired location. The solar
panel and battery box can be mounted to a
wooden post, T-post, or fence post. If you
are using a T-post you may have to pre-drill
holes for the battery box. (As a general rule
you should mount the solar panel facing
South).
3.
Connect the Solar Panel wire to the battery
box. The connectors on the battery box
should face down
(see image 2)

4.
Plug your camera into the battery box
using the provided power cable.
**If you are using a security enclosure you will
need to turn the power switch on before placing
the camera in the security enclosure. Plug in the
power cable after the camera is installed in the
security enclosure.
