Locking Lap-Shoulder

Belt Installation –

Rear-Facing

Many vehicles have lap-shoulder belt systems which remain

loose for adult use and can be locked for use with a child

restraint. Check your vehicle owner’s manual to determine

which type of seat belt system is in each seating location.

There may be a label located on the door side of the seat belt

with instructions for use with a child restraint.

If your vehicle has a switchable retractor

or locking latch plates, use Locking Lap-

Shoulder Belt Installation instructions.

recline position by pulling

the recline adjust handle and

rotating the seat back. Rotate
