Conditions for use

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting the machine to a socket, take care:

Make sure the socket is provided with a suitable ground protection

Make sure that the power supply voltage and frequency correspond to those indicated on the product
nameplate

Ensure to position the power cable in a way that will avoid the risk of sliding and tripping and to avoid
any cable contact with hot parts

It is user responsibility to ensure that the connection of the device to the electric system is in
compliance with the rules in force in the country where the device is installed, and that the
installation has been done by a qualified technician.

Once all preliminary controls have been correctly done, and once the tubular part of the resistance is
correctly placed, you may supply the unit and start to use your device.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
USE WITH REBER COMPRESSED WOOD:
Fully insert the resistance in the smoker and in the drawer ( figure 2) , cover with Reber compressed wood
and program 10 min. of work to have +/- 2 hours of smoke.
USE WITH WOOD CHIPS OR SMOKE&WOOD CHIPS:
Fully insert the resistance in the smoker and in the drawer ( figure. 2) , cover with wood chips and program
5 min. of work to have +/- 30 min. of smoke.
USE WITH COLD SMOKER KIT:
USE WITH REBER COMPRESSED WOOD:
Fully insert the resistance in the smoker and in the drawer ( figura. 3) , cover with Reber compressed wood
and program 10 min. of work to have +/- 2 hours of smoke.
USE WITH WOOD CHIPS OR SMOKE&WOOD CHIPS:
Fully insert the resistance in the smoker and in the drawer ( figura. 3) , cover with wood chips and program
5 min. of work to have +/- 30 min. of smoke.
WARNING:

Operating times are indicative and depend to the quantity of wood used and on the degree of
humidity

Too long operating times may cause fire of the wood
-
Wood may be humidified if too dry or to allow longer use and to avoid risk of fire

If longer time needed it is preferred to add wood again and to repeat the operating time
programming.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING :
Disconnect the plug from the socket before any operation such as cleaning or maintenance
Do not use jets of water for cleaning
Do not use brushes that may deteriorate the surface of the appliance
Use a soft cloth moistened with normal neutral detergent to avoid the surface deterioration of the device
Check the supply cord frequently and if it is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
Contact immediately the supplier in case of malfunctioning or damaged parts
