PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Button description
• 200 º C – press to set desired temperature to 200 º C
• 300 º C – press to set desired temperature to 300 º C
• 400 º C – press to set desired temperature to 400 º C
• º C / º F – temperature unit button
• buttons - and +, pressing which increases or decreases the set temperature by
1 º C / 2 º F; pressing and holding changes the temperature by 10 º C / 18 º F
Screen description
• the display shows two temperature values - the lower one with the word SET
indicates the currently set temperature; the upper one with the word TEMP
indicates the current temperature of the soldering tip
• HEAT ON is displayed when the soldering tip is hot
• WAIT is displayed when actual temperature is higher or lower than set
temperature
OPERATION
1. Place the soldering station on stable, flat ground
2. Place the stand next to the station and plug the soldering iron inside.
3. Connect the soldering iron with the soldering station.
4. Plug the soldering station into a power outlet and switch it on using the power
button on the back of the station.
5. In case of incorrect operation, e.g. a damaged temperature sensor or when the
power cable of the soldering tip is disconnected from the soldering iron, the
display will show ERROR and a sound signal will be displayed.
6. Before the first use, tin the soldering tip. To do this, turn on the soldering iron,
melt a small amount of tin and, after reaching the temperature of 200 º C, stick it
to the tip.
Note:
It is not recommended to use the soldering iron for a long time with the maximum
temperature of the soldering tip.
7. Use buttons to set temperature.
8. After finishing work, turn off the station with the power button and wait for the
soldering iron to cool down. The soldering station will remember the last set
temperature after turning off.
Note:
After finishing work, it is recommended to leave a small amount of tin on the
soldering tip - it serves as a protection for the tip until the next use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning the device, make sure that the device is unplugged from power
mains.
• Clean this device with soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents or other
cleaning agents.
• If the tin is poorly adhered to the soldering tip, clean it with fine sandpaper and
then reapply a thin layer of tin over it.
• The device has a replaceable fuse 1 A 250 V / Ø 5x20. To replace it, unscrew
the plug at the rear of the station and replace the worn fuse.
