Surface area measurement
1. Press the turn on/laser button.
2. Press the mode button, until
surface area measurement icon
appears.
3. Turn on the laser and point at
the first edge Press the
measurement button.
4. Move the meter and point the laser at second edge. Press
the measurement button.
5. Surface area result will appear on the display.
Volume measurement
1. Press the turn on/laser button.
2. Press the mode button, until volume measurement
appears.
3. Turn on the laser and point at the first edge Press the
measurement button.
4. Move the meter and point the laser at second edge. Press
the measurement button.
5. Move the meter and point the laser at the third edge. Press
the measurement button.
6. Measured volume will be displayed.
Additional notes for measurements
• To change the measurement units, press the units button.
• The meter will turn off after 20 seconds of idle.
• Before conducting the measurement, check the position of
reference point (front or rear of the meter).
• Point the laser at places that are perpendicularly to the
meter. To achieve this, use the bubble level indicator.
• Make sure that nothing is in the way of the laser.
• Point the laser at objects that have smooth texture, such as
piece of paper or a wall. Objects with irregular texture may
cause the interference.
• Do not point the meter at a glass and see-through surfaces.
• Measurements less than 0.5 m and higher that 18 m will
result in displaying "Err" message on the display.
