TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
If the fire table will not ignite
CORRECT
INCORRECT
If the fire table will not stay lit
1.
Make sure that the battery is not dead and that it is installed correctly, with the
positive (+) side facing out.
Make sure that the igniter housing is unobstructed. Clear away any filler material or debris on the
housing and make sure there is nothing between the igniter pin and the thermocouple.
If the ignition system is working correctly, you should hear a clicking sound while the
igniter button is pushed and you should see a spark inside the igniter housing. If you do
not see the spark or hear a clicking sound, please check the following.
If the fire table lights, but will not stay lit, or remains lit only for a brief time, please check the
following.
2.
If you still do not hear a clicking sound or see a spark in the
igniter housing, look under the fire table and make sure that the
electrode wire is correctly inserted into the back of the electronic
ignition box. While inspecting the electrode wire, make sure that
it is not cut or broken in any place. If the wire has been damaged
contact Real Flame at 1-800-654-1704 for a replacement.
3.)
If you hear clicking but cannot see a spark in the igniter
housing, look under the table. Check between the electrode
wire connection at the back of the electronic ignition and the
connection point at the burn pan. If you see a spark anywhere
under the table, look for damage to the wire or an incomplete
connection at that point. If the wire has been damaged contact
Real Flame at 1-800-654-1704 for a replacement.
