4.3.
Recommendations of use / troubleshooting

Start-up: Before using your system, it is recommended to switch-on the HDD14b before the
other equipments for optimal operation. You can also leave it always ON.
•
Set-up of the equipments: The high performance dispatch of your HDD14b allows the Source
to Auto-set-up with respect to the first HDMI Display detected on the output, through the
HDMI connection. Depending on the equipments connected, this Auto-Set-up may take some
time and you may have to wait for few seconds before having a picture on the displays. This
is a normal behavior.
Nevertheless, with some equipment, the Auto set-up may take too much time or not establish.
In this case, first try to change the setting of the EDID selector (STD setting is the more safe).
If still no operation, it is recommended to disable the Automatic set-up in the source and set a
picture resolution (starting with 720p) and a Sound format (starting with PCM stereo)
compatible with the displays (see their corresponding manuals for this).

Use with different specs Displays: The HDD14b will send the same signal from the source to
the 4 displays at the same time. So, to have proper operation on the 4 displays, they all must
accept what the source is able to send. For example, if you connect a 1080p source with 3x
1080p Tvs + 1 x only-1080i TV, then the 1080i TV will not be able to display 1080p signal.

In case of operation troubles: check the cable’s connections, switch off all your equipments,
disconnect the HDD14b power supply, wait 10 seconds, reconnect the HDD14b, then the
Displays –wait for complete start up of them-, then Switch ON the source.
