Use of Door Sensor and Panic Buttons

Opens:
Lights go on.
Door open timer starts running. (0 - 99 min.)
Closes:
Lights go out.
Timer resets
Open Too Long:
Alarm horn sounds. (Delay time exceeded.)
Text message alerts sent.
Panic Button Pressed:
Alarm horn sounds.
Interior lighting turns on.
Text message alarm sounds.
Panic Reset Button Pressed: Alarm silenced.
Text message sent “Alarm cleared
”
Lights go out.
The door sensor (magnetic switch)
automatically controls the internal
lighting. Once the door is opened
an internal timer in the Informant
starts running. If the door is closed
promptly the lights are shut off. If
the door is opened too long a series
of events begins as described in the
table below.
Additionally, an internal panic
button can over-ride the timer.
The external Panic Button Resert
cancels the Internal Panic Button.
