SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
FORUM 3000 is a compact conference system, easy-to-
use and cost effective solution for small and medium size
meetings venues, where both a professional audio quality and
basic microphone management approach are required.
It is the ideal solution for both temporary and permanent
installations, where up to 80 microphones are needed.
A typical system includes:
- a single MMU 3100 main unit with amplifier inside
- one MMS 3405P chairman’s microphone
- up to 79 MMS 3404D delegate microphones.
It is possible to double the system capacity (up to 160
microphones) by linking two MMU 3100 main units.
The system installation is simple: you just need to plug the
chairman microphone to the MMU 3100 main unit and then
all delegate microphones in daisy-chain to it, by a single or
two lines (according to the table layout).
The MMU 3100 main unit includes an internal power supply
switch and the ‘Class-D’ amplifier to feed both all microphone
console built-in loudspeakers and also some additional
loudspeakers (having 100 V / 70 V input, total power: max. 80
W) installed in the room / hall.
Microphone wiring is made by using CAT 5FTP cables and
standard RJ 45 connectors.
Every delegate console has a latching button to freely activate
its microphone, allowing the respective delegate to speak
mixed with all the others.
The chairman’s console has an additional latching button
to get priority over all delegates (that get muted when the
priority is on).
Fix the 2 rack ears through the 6 included screws.
Note: 2 screws of the MMU 3100 main unit
chassis shall be removed.
