RPX6500 P25 MOBILE RADIO - USER MANUAL

Use the / keys to select the required phonebook entry.

Press the

key to send the message to the chosen destination ID. The radio will then return to

the default screen.

Press the ‘

Reset

’ function key (if configured) to return to the default screen display without

sending the message.

Press the

Menu

Back

key to return to the Destination Selection Pop-up screen.

5.16.3.4. Enter Unit ID Screen

The

Enter Unit ID

screen allows the user to enter the destination Unit ID manually using the

keypad. The valid range of a Unit ID is 0 – 16,777,215.

The entered digits can be deleted by using the key.

Press the

Menu

Back

key to return to the Destination Selection pop-up menu screen. Press

the ‘

Reset

’ function key (if configured) to return to the default screen display.

Press the

key to send the message to the entered unit ID (providing it is valid). The radio will

then return to the default screen.

If the entered Unit ID is not valid, or the IP address is not defined properly, an error beep will
sound. Sending a short message or text message can fail if the destination radio is not available.

5.17. SCAN EDIT MENU

The

Scan Edit

menu allows the user to add or delete channels to or from a Scan Group. Any

changes to a Scan Group are stored permanently in the radio.
