mp3 and CD Player
Selecting CD Mode
When the unit is turned off, press
ON /
STANDBY
to turn the unit on to the previously
used mode.
Press
RADIO / CD / AUX
to select CD mode.
Loading Disc
1. Press the
CD OPEN
button to slide disc tray
out.
2. Place a disc on the disc tray with the label
side facing up.
3. Push the disc tray back in.
“
TOC READ
” shows on the display when the
unit is reading the disc.
If the disc is a normal audio CD, the display
shows the total number of tracks and total
track time on the disc.
If the disc is a mp3 / WMA disc, the display
shows the “mp3” or “WMA” icon during
playback.
In CD stop mode, the total number of
folders and files on the disc are also
displayed.
Play and Pause
1. In stop mode, press
PLAY/PAUSE
to
begin CD playback.
The
icon is displayed.
2. During CD playback, press
PLAY/PAUSE
to pause playback. Press again to resume.
The

icon is displayed in pause mode.
Skip and Search
1. Press
TRACK/TUNE
or
to skip to the
previous or next track respectively.
2. Press and hold
TRACK/TUNE
or
to
search quickly current track backward or
forward respectively.
Stop Playback
Press
STOP
to stop playback.
mp3 File System
•
This unit adopts a 2-layer folder system,
only the first layer subfolder number in a
mp3 disc will be counted; All subsequent
folders and files will be re-organised.
•
Empty folders will not be shown when
browsing through the disc.
•
512 folders and files are supported.
