Completing the Initial Setup
The first time you turn on your TV, the Initial Setup Wizard opens, which guides you through setting up
basic settings including the
language, TV loacation, Time zone, Tuner
and
channel scan.
A. Turning on the unit
Press to turn on the unit after making sure that you have:
• Installed the remote control batteries.
• Connected an antenna, cable TV, or Satellite TV.
• Connected the power cord.
B. Selecting Lanuguage
The Language choice screen opens. press
to select the on-screen language from the
choices on the right of the TV screen (
English
/ Español / Français
).
• Initial Setup menu on step 3 will be diaplayed in the
selected language after you press
OK

C. Setting TV Location
Press
to select the desired location settings
(
Home / Retail
), then press
OK

• Choosing
Home
for the TV Location assigns the
optimal picture settings for most home
environments. This is also the most energy-efficient
setting.
• Choosing
Retail
, which is not Energy Star
compliant, the unit will be set up with predefined
setting for retail display. In this setting, the power
consumption may possibly exceed the limited
requirement of the ENERGY STAR
®
qualification.
D. Setting Time Zone
Press
to select the current local time, then press
OK

to go to the next screen.
