6. Turning on the camcorder
• Open the LCD screen and press the power switch
until the camcorder turns on.
Press and hold
• "Ready" shows on the LCD screen when the camcorder is ready for recording.

• Press and hold power switch to turn off camcorder.
• The camcorder will automatically turn off after 3 minutes if not in use.

7. Resetting the camcorder
• If the player stops operating properly, you can reset it by removing and re-installing the battery.
8. Setting date and time
• It is recommended to set the date and time before using the camcorder. Refer to "Menu settings" on
page 23 for more information.
