Mounting the ANT706
Interior or exterior mounting to a wall using the L-brackets.
Determine the desired mounting location for your new antenna, keeping in mind where the
broadcast antennas are for best reception. Attach the center support bracket to the antenna with
the 5- 3/4" Philips head screws. Now attach the L-brackets to the slots in the bottom of the antenna
with the 3/4" bolts. These slots are adjustable to offer flexibility in mounting. Using the brackets
as guides mark the wall where the L-brackets should be secured to the wall. Attach the 75ohm
cable to the F fitting on the bottom of the antenna. Secure the antenna to the desired location. It
would be suggested that you secure the brackets to the wall studs for the most secure mounting.
Attic or exterior mounting to a mast (not included).
Place the two U-bolts through the predrilled holes in the center support bracket. Align and attach
the center support bracket to the antenna with five Philips head screws. Attach a mast clamp on
each U-bolt with the jagged edge faced inward and then loosely place the nuts on the bolts. Slide
the U-bolts and mast clamps over the top of the mast and tighten the nuts to secure the antenna to
the mast. Connect the cable to the F-connector. Raise the mast and secure it at the desired location.
