Repeat the same process with the vertical fin.
•
Cut out a V-shape at the front of the tail piece to match the shape of the wing (see Fig. 3). Glue
the tail to the wing. Many possible glues can be used: epoxy, foam-safe CA, UHU POR,
Gorilla, hot-melt.

Glue and tape bamboo skewers to the leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer, embedding about
1/2 inch (1-2cm) of the sharp end of the skewer into the foam of the wing (see Fig. 3)

Remove support material from the 3D-printed motor mount. You might want to preserve some
pieces, they can be useful for repairs using a soldering iron.

Screw the motor to the 3D-printed motor mount.
•
Cut the carbon-tube wing spar to 32 inches. Using a thread and the glue, tie the motor mount to
the middle of the spar.
•
Using the edge of the wing spar, press it across the leading edge of the wing to make a nice
round saddle for the spar (Fig. 4).
