REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
Hub Motor Replacement Cont.
Required Tools: Phillips screwdriver, 13 mm wrench, awl for opening out wire prongs.

Pull motor cable out of battery compartment.

Loosen axle nut using the 13 mm wrench. Do
not remove.

Remove motor cable wires from connector using an awl.

Remove two (2) motor housing screws using
the Phillips screwdriver.

Remove wheel unit.

Install new wheel unit.

Install two (2) motor housing screws using
the Phillips screwdriver.
Note:
Motor Control Module
Red 1 Blue
Black 1 Yellow
Note: When re-inserting the motor
wires into the connector, make sure
the red wire connects to the blue
wire and the black wire connects to
the yellow wire.
