The machine must be anchored to a smooth
level surface so that the entire base of the
machine is supported and rests on the
mounting surface. (Do not support the machine
on only four points.) Anchor bolts must be a
minimum of 5/8" diameter, grade 2.
Care must be exercised in the design of the
mounting base due to the force exerted by the
machine during extract.
Static and dynamic loads on the floor or
foundation are shown in the table below. This
table can be used as a reference when
designing floors and foundations.
If the existing floor fails to meet these
minimum requirements, a concrete
foundation pad must be constructed.
