Min/Max measurement

 

Minimum/Maximum registers values

 •

  The Min/Max registers hold the minimum and maximum values of Current from the time the  

    registers were last reset.

 •

  The Min/Max registers can be helpful in identifying bad electrical connections. 

   This can be achieved by calculating difference between Min values among nearby Strings.   

   Where one string is shown to have greater difference, it may indicate a possible problem with  

   the terminal connections.

7.5 

Surge counter

The ProSMS has a built in surge counter which is capable of detecting and counting direct and 

indirect surges to the panels, string cables or cabling to the central inverter.

The Surge counter has been optimized to work best with the Raycap PV ProTEC 

surge protection series of SPDs.
