you will be impressed with the performance of your new
RAYBURN cooker and with the ongoing service you
will receive.
Peace of mind
Every new RAYBURN leaving the factory and installed by a
RAYBURN approved outlet carries a 3 year guarantee on parts
(certain consumable parts are excluded - for full details see
below). This also includes all labour charges for the first
12 months.
Warranty terms & conditions
Your manufacturer’s warranty covers your RAYBURN for
defective workmanship for a period of 1 year and materials
for a period of 3 years.
This warranty covers mechanical breakdown and proven
cosmetic and manufacturing defects. The manufacturer’s
warranty is not transferable.
To ensure your warranty remains
valid the following terms apply:
1.
The appliance has been correctly installed in accordance
with the manufacturers instructions, current legislation,
relevant British Standards and Codes of Practice, by a
competent person.
2.
The appliance has been used solely in a domestic
environment for domestic purposes.
3.
The appliance is not a second hand or
refurbished appliance.
4.
The appliance has not been subject to misuse,
accidental damage, modification or repair (other than
an approved warranty repair) and has not deteriorated
due to normal domestic wear and tear and that the
manufacturer’s recommendations concerning cleaning
materials has been followed.
Note
: Following installation, it is important that any required
gaps between finished worktops and the top of your
appliance be maintained. Similarly, access may be required to
remove plinths for models where working parts are situated
in the base of the cooker. For further information, consult
your appliance’s individual installation guidelines.
A call out charge may be
applicable if:
1.
The appliance is more than 12 months old.
2.
The fault occurred due to misuse, accidental damage or
modification from manufacturer’s specification.
3.
Please note that invoices for call out repair work carried
out during the guarantee period by any third party will
only be accepted when pre-authorised by
AGA Rangemaster
What is not included in
the guarantee:
1.
Consumable parts
2.
Any labour charges not directly connected with the
repair or replacement of a faulty component.
3.
Any consequential loss.
4.
Any external controls/components not supplied by AGA
Rangemaster.
Servicing
All electric Rayburn appliances - no service required.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover products which have been
altered by the customer or by third parties. Materials, spare
parts and specific tools must be as recommended by AGA
Rangemaster. Warranty does not cover misuse, abuse or
impact damage. Corrosion caused by incorrect use of
chemical cleaners or scratches to chrome, stainless or enamel
components by abrasive cleaning materials are also excluded.
Warranty strictly excludes commercial use. Appliances are
covered for domestic use only.
This policy applies to electric only products which carry the
RAYBURN name plate and trademark
(RAYBURN utensils and accessories are covered
by a separate policy)
Product fuel conversions are not covered
