Take a flex rod from the
carrying case and insert
the black end into one of
the eight flex rod slots on
the light fixture.

Align the softbox’s flex
rod pockets with the flex
rod slots on the light
fixture. Insert the silver-
tipped end of the flex rod
into one of the flex rod
pockets on the inside
edge of the softbox.
Bending the rod may be
necessary to fit into the
pocket.

Attach the next rod on
the opposite side from
the first rod.

Repeat the last three
steps until all of the flex
rods have been installed.
Once completed, the
softbox should be
stretched tight and be
able to keep its shape on
its own.
