the twist angle is used to change the direction of ball spin and therefore
ball curve. When using the machine for defensive drills, the horizontal
and vertical pin joints can be left loose to let the machine swivel freely,
but the twist angle should always be locked during use to prevent
accidental movement.
Twist angle is set by removing the knob shown in blue in Figure 10,
rotating the machine frame to another hole, then re-installing the knob.

The ball ended aiming handle may be installed in whichever mounting
tab is more convenient. As the machine’s twist angle is adjusted, you
may want to move the handle to the other mounting tab.
The horizontal and vertical aiming joints both have geared “micro-adjust”
knobs shown in blue in Figure 11. To adjust either angle, loosen the black
clamping knob, aim the machine with the micro adjust knob, then re-
tighten the clamping knob.
