SOS Button and
Two Way Voice Call
The GPS locating device has an SOS button. It is a good idea to test the SOS alarm first.
When SOS
button is pressed and held for 3 seconds it will vibrate and ‘beep’ within 1 minute this
will send a unique notification to your smart phone inviting you to make a call to the device.
When you open the notification you will be asked to make a call back to the locating device. The
locating device cannot call out but you can have a two way voice call by making a call to the
device.
The locating device will auto answer but first it rings to indicate to the user that a call is incoming.
Please note that you can make a call to Safer Walking device at any time using the “Call” button
on Safer Walking App Home screen.

batter notifications through the app. This allows you to make a call to the device to remind the
person carrying the device to charge.
Normally battery lasts up to 48 hours since last full charge
Notification will have a unique sound so please make sure that you have sound
turned on and notifications enabled
