Conditions of supply
The additional pellet feed hopper is complete with the supporting structure, lining with safety guards, pellet elevator screw, screw
drive gear motor and connections to the boiler for left-hand or right-hand installation of the boiler.
The lifting of the tank complete with packaging can be carried out by means of a forklift truck, inserting the forks, of suitable length,
in the appropriate seats of the wooden pallet.
The storage and transport of the tank must be carried out in such a way as to avoid exposure to rain or persistent humidity that can
cause permanent damage to the structure and electrical-electronic components.
Technical data and conditions of use
The pellet tank works exclusively in combination with the boiler. Pellet loading takes place only from the compartment that can be
discovered by opening the mobile door.
The door must be completely closed during operation.
The operation is carried out by the boiler controls at the time of request for a set time. A level sensor is installed in the hopper of the
additional hopper that monitors the presence of pellets during operation and displays the alarm via the boiler control panel in the
event of a pellet shortage.
Preparation of the boiler and place of installation
Before installing the hopper, make sure that the pellet boiler is installed according to the instructions in the manual and in
compliance with the standards in force.
Check that the electrical system and sockets have the capacity to withstand the maximum absorption of both the boiler and the
tank.
The boiler must be suitably spaced from flammable or combustible materials with air cavities or through the use of suitable
insulating protections; it must also be specified that floors and/or soffit-covers made of flammable or heat-sensitive material must
be protected by protective panels made of insulating material.
Check that in the technical installation room of the boiler and tank system there are the side and rear spaces necessary for the
maintenance and cleaning of the equipment, the flue gas ducts and the flue pipe. Also check that the pellet tank of the boiler and
the supplementary tank are easily accessible for loading and checking the fuel level.
The minimum maintenance and safety distances are shown in the table in the technical characteristics section.
Packaging
The accessory is supplied inside a wooden cage suitably protected by bubble wrap.
After opening the cage unscrew the 4 screws (2 at the front, 2 at the back) that allow the removal of the fixing brackets.
Tilt the tank by lifting it slightly off the ground and then screw the feet. The tank will rest on the wheels already mounted and it will
be easier to move it. Remove the tank supporting feet once you found its final position.
