continuously pressed, to transition from Slow to Medium speed. If this timer is set
to 0, the CDI will transition into the medium speed upon start up. The valid range
for this timer is 0 to 30,000 Msec. The default value is 500 Msec.
Cursor Speed (Medium—Fast): the (Medium—Fast) Cursor Speed Timer is valid
only in CDI mode. It determines the time interval the user has to keep the key
continuously pressed for the CDI to transition from the Medium speed to the Fast
speed. If this timer is set to 0, the CDI will transition to the Fast speed from the
Medium speed instantaneously. The valid range for this timer is 0 to 30000 Msec.
The default value is 500 Msec.
VCR Key Mapping: this section of the TMRC window provides two functions.
First, the user can directly control a VCR by clicking the appropriate, associated
keypad function buttons. Second, the user can program unused telephone keypad
buttons to execute user-defined VCR commands.
Important:
Existing VCR buttons (1-6 and 0)
cannot
be remapped.
Function One (Direct Control): direct control of a VCR is provided via the VCR
Key-mapping section of the Configuration Window. A total of twelve buttons
populate the window; seven of the these are associated with fixed commands, five
are user-definable:

: Rewinds the video tape.

PLAY
: Plays the video tape.

FF
: Fast-forwards the video tape.

FREZ
: Freezes/resumes playing the video tape (toggle switch).
