5 Spreading operation using the QUANTRON-A control unit
The QUANTRON-A control unit supports you in setting the machine before you
start work. During spreading, control unit functions are also active in the back-
ground. The quality of the fertiliser spreading can be monitored using them.
5.1 TELIMAT
TELIMAT with hydraulic remote control
The TELIMAT is hydraulically moved to its working or idle position. The TELIMAT
can be activated or deactivated by pressing the
T key . Depending on the position,
the display shows or hides the TELIMAT symbol .

If TELIMAT sensors are connected and activated, the TELIMAT symbol is
shown on the display of the control unit as soon as the TELIMAT has been hy-
draulically brought into operating position. If the TELIMAT is moved back to the
idle position, the
TELIMAT symbol is hidden. The sensors monitor the TELIMAT
adjustment and activate or deactivate the TELIMAT automatically. The T key has
no function with this variant.
If the status of the TELIMAT unit cannot be detected for more than five seconds,
alarm message 14 is displayed; see chapter
6.1: Meaning of alarm messages,
page 103 .

CAUTION
Risk of injury due to the automatic adjustment of TELIMAT!
After the T key has been pressed, the unit is automatically moved
to the border spreading position by means of electric servomotors
(SpeedServos). This may cause injuries and material damage.
 Before pressing the T key , you must make sure that no per-
sons are in the danger zone.
NOTICE
The TELIMAT variant is pre-configured for the control unit at the factory!
