10.10 Metering slide adjustment
Check that the metering slides open smoothly before every working season, and
during the season if necessary.
Requirements:

The mechanical system must move freely.

Version K and R: the return spring is unhooked.

The hydraulic cylinder is unhooked.
Check (e.g. left side of machine):
2. Push the metering slide against the pin, and lock it in this position by tighten-
ing the setscrew.
 The stop on the lower scale arc (metering scale) is positioned at the
scale value 85. If the position is not correct, readjust the scale.

WARNING
Danger of crushing and shearing due to components operat-
ed by an external force
When working on power-operated components (adjusting lever,
metering slides), there is a crushing and shearing risk.
Pay attention to the shear point of the metering slide opening and
the metering slide during all adjustment work.
 Switch the tractor motor off.
 Remove the ignition key.
 Disconnect the power supply between the tractor and the
machine.
 Never actuate the hydraulic metering slide during adjust-
ment work.
