PLANNER (deco planner)
The iDive integrates a complete planner for squares dives .
Attention: To change the dive parameters set on the iDive through the DIVE SET
and MIX menu, the iDive will simulate a dive using the current settings.
For DEPTH, Time and Evaluate make reference to “Planner inside NDLs” (previous
page)
If the dive is OUTSIDE NDLs (Deco stops are contemplated)
DPT:
Deco stop depth in metres (in feet is imperial unit is set)
DT:
Stop time expressed in minutes
RT:
Time passed from the dive beginning to the deco stop.
MIX:
Mix used during the deco stop.
ATTENTION
: Besides the deco stops, also the info concerning the bottom time end are always stated as
last value (in the example on the left side 35 |25 | 25| 21/0)

ATTENTION: For carry out the decompressive calculations, the planner takes as descent speed 18m/min
and a ascent speed 9m/min.
ATTENTION: The Planner function does not carry out the profile “validation”, that is it does not take into
consideration a possible CNS excess, limits in the mix volumetric availability, a possible isobaric counter-
diffusion due to a mix change or the MOD of a possible mix used.
To plan a technical dive properly, a suitable training is necessary. Make reference to your Instructor or by
your diver certification agency to in case of doubts about planning a dive.
For Planner’s graphic formatting reasons, the maximum visualized DT is 99 minutes. In case the single deco stop is longer than 99
minutes, in the Planner it is displayed as “99”; instead, during the dive the recommended stop is expressed with the the real time
needed (e.g. 120 min)
