Measurement

Method

Instructions for use.

1. Power on.

2. Power indicator light (green) will illuminate,

the detection level indicators will illuminate

in sequence.

3. This initialisation last approximately 30

seconds. The power indicator light remains

on and the unit beeps twice when

initialisation is complete.

4. Please note this process should be done in

a fresh air environment.

5. To detect a leak, move the sensor head

as close as possible and slowly (3 to 5cm

per second) over the parts which are to be

examined for leaks.

6. If gas is detected the detection level

indicators will illuminate to indicate the

approximate ppm level. An audible alarm will

also sound, the higher the level detected the

quicker the alarm will sound.

7. Detection level indicator LEDs (methane)

LED1: Approx >50PPM, LED2: Approx >250PPM,

LED3: Approx >500PPM,

LED4: Approx >1000PPM.
