3. Do not use the gas leak detector if it 

    operates abnormally.

4. Do not use the gas leak detector on or near   

    live apparatus.

5. Replace the batteries as soon as the power 

    indicator flashes. This will reduce the  

    possibility of false readings.

6. Never attempt to open the unit and perform 

    any repairs, this will automatically void the 

    warranty. 

7. Do not allow the sensor to come into 

    contact with moisture or acids.

ALWAYS

• Turn your detector on in a “clean air” 

  environment away from the test location.

• Inspect the sensor cage to ensure it is 

  securely attached.

NEVER

• Place the detector or sensor cage in or on a 

  hot item.
