Checking the Refill Unit
NOTE!
Wearing protective gloves protects the skin from contact
with skin damaging materials. During work steps in
which you work with printing materials or cleaning
agents, we always recommend wearing protective
gloves.
The hose on the refill unit needs to be visually inspected regularly for
signs of wear.

Execution
For checking the hose of the refill unit visually, please proceed as
follows:
1.
Wear protective gloves on your hands.
2.
Open the upper and middle hood.
3.
Insert the hose holder with the material feed hose into the
parking position on the machine housing. The end of the hose
with the stainless-steel nozzle must be pointing upwards.
Take care that none of the material drips down!
4.
Fold the peristaltic pump cover upwards to open the hose
passage of the pump.
5.
Remove the material feed hose from the hose passage and
check it for damage, deposits, changes in colour and other
anomalies. A hose with signs of wear needs to be replaced.

6.
If there are no abnormalities, guide the hose back through the
hose passage of the pump again.
7.
Press the peristaltic pump cover down to fix the hose back in the
pump.
8.
Insert the hose into the hose cut-out on the left-hand side of the
mounting plate and clamp it behind the lug provided. Close
both hoods.
