10.2. STARTING THE ENGINE OF THE MOWER WITH THE HETRONIC REMOTE
CONTROL
• Check the gasoline in the fuel tank, refuel
with unleaded gasoline BA95 if
necessary.
• Check the position of the blade drive lever
switch (5) on the remote radio controller.
The controller must be in the OFF
position.
• Check the forward/reverse control joystick
(7 on the remote radio controller and
leave it the neutral position.
• Switch ON the remote radio controller
power switch (9) by turning clockwise.
• The controller will beep after a few
seconds and lamp 10 will illuminate.
Unless switch 5 is in the OFF position,
button 9 in the ON position and the
EMERGENCY STOP button in the
raised position, the machine will not
start.
•
Ensure the EMERGENCY STOP button
on the remote radio control is in the raised
position.
• Set the engine choke control to the
position for cold start - the lever is pulled
up (only for the first start or if the engine is
cold). See the engine user’s manual.
• Use the key to unlock and pull up the
EMERGENCY STOP button on the
mower.
• Wait till LED number 2 on the mower
starts to shine (about 10 seconds).
• Press the horn button on the remote radio
controller – the mower ignition engages.
• Press the START button (4) on the
remote radio controller.
• The engine is “running”, release the
START button on the remote radio
controller. While the engine is working do
not use the START button again.
• Let the mower idle for about 2 – 3 minutes
without engaging the mowing device and,
while the engine is warming up, push
back the choke control (in the case of a
cold start).
• For 5 seconds after the engine has
started all motion functions of the mower
are blocked – they can be unblocked by
pressing the horn button 11.
NOTICE:
Do not stand right next to the mower while
starting it
