6. Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, please first read the following table: this could save you time and money.

SR
“Failure” Warning
Appears when one or more of the refrigerator
parts fail or there is a problem in the cooling
system.
Call a service agent for assistance as soon as
possible.
LC
Refrigerator compartment is not cold
enough
This warning especially appears if there has
been a power failure for a long period or
when the refrigerator is operated for the first
time. Ideal temperature for the refrigerator
compartment is +4 oC. If you see this
warning, your foods are at risk of spoiling.
1. Set the refrigerator temperature to colder
values or set the Super Cooling mode
until the compartment reaches normal
temperature.
2. Open the door as little as possible until the
fault clears.
HC
Refrigerator compartment too cold
The food will start to freeze because the
temperature is too cold.
3. Check if the Super Cooling mode is
switched on.
4. Decrease the refrigerator temperature
values.
LP
“Low voltage” Warning
Refrigerators switches to standby mode
when the voltage supply falls below 170
Volts.
This feature prevents the compressor from
damage due to low voltage.
The refrigerator will start operating
automatically when the voltage restores to
the required level.
If you are experiencing a problem with your appliance, please check
the following before contacing the after-sales service.
Only a qualified service engineer should service the appliance and
only approved spare parts should be used.

Isolate the electricity supply before carrying out any
maintenance.
Your fridge does not operate
Check if:
•
There is power.
•
The plug is connected to the socket correctly.
•
The socket fuse or the mains fuse has blown.
•
The socket is faulty. To check this, plug another working
appliance into the same socket.
Your fridge is performing poorly
Check if:
•
The appliance is overloaded.
•
The fridge temperature set to 2°C.
•
The doors are closed properly.
•
The condenser is clean and free of dust (
Fig. 6.1
).
•
There is an adequate distance between the appliance
and surrounding walls. Please refer to
“Positioning
Your Appliance” page 19
•
A high ambient temperature (T/SN = 10°C-43°C)
•
An error with the appliance.
