An alterative to connection in local area network is wireless LAN connection. With the
presence of an authenticated Wi-Fi signal, the R&S
NGL/NGM automatically connects
to a network and navigation can be made via the web browser according to the WLAN
IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards.
1. Select "Wireless LAN" to set LAN connection.

NGL/NGM displays the "Wireless LAN Settings" dialog.

2. Select "Enable" menu item to set "On" to enable wireless LAN.
The R&S
NGL/NGM began searching available WiFi network and the "Status"
shows "Searching".
3. Select the "Select Network" to connect the required WiFi network.
If connection is successful, the "Status" shows "Connected". See

When the connection is alive, the WLAN icon turns white on the device status bar.

4. To disconnect, select the Disconnect in the "Wireless LAN settings" dialog.
