Install
1. Locate the diagnostic port on the truck
2. Twist the ELD 50
®
until it aligns with the pins on
the diagnostic port and push firmly to connect
the device.
3. Press the collar on the ELD 50
®
toward the vehicle
and turn it clockwise to lock the device in place.
4. The device will flash a momentary white light
when it powers on.
5. The device will then flash a sequence of red lights
to indicate the following connection, in order:
JBUS, GPS, Bluetooth.
6. Turn the truck ignition. When the JBUS connection
is detected by the device the first light in the series
will change from red to green.
7. When the device latches to GPS signal the second
light in the series will change to green.

enables you to view truck locations and vehicle statuses.
Register
1. Open the Rand McNally DriverConnect app on your
phone or tablet
2. Follow the registration steps shown on the
Rand McNally DriverConnect app to register

Follow steps on the app to connect to the ELD 50
®
.
The device will show a solid green light to indicate the
successful completion of the installation.
