COMBINATION LOCK INSTRUCTIONS
Please Use Proper Cable Management During Installation
Depending on the number of cables needing to be supported, choose the proper size cable clamp. Be
sure to choose the clamp with the proper inside diameter for the cables so as not to damage the cables.
The clamp should fit just snug. Do not crush the cables. Do not use a clamp that is too large or the
cables will slip through and put undue strain on the connection into the dock.
1.
Plug the power and USB cables into the dock.
2.
Extend the cables out from the dock in a straight line and secure together using cable ties. Evenly
space the cables ties to keep the cables organized. Do not overly tighten the cable ties. Just
snug is sufficient. Carefully clip off the excess from the cable ties.
3.
Next, take the gathered cables and create a gradual loop.
4.
Place the cables inside the cable clamp as shown.
5.
Using the supplied screw, attach the cable clamp with cables to the back of the dock. Do not over
tighten the screw or you will strip out the hole. A minimum of a 2.5” to 3” loop is suggested to
prevent any sharp bends in the cables. Looping the cables back toward the dock will put any
cable strain on the cable clamp and not on the dock junctions.
