Product overview
1.1 Overview
The RC1104-FE-4W is the G.SHDSL modem developed by Raisecom, supporting the
G.SHDSL.BIS feature. It uses two pairs of twisted-pair cables (bare wire) for transmission
with the maximum transmission rate of 2 × 11.4 Mbit/s. The RC1104-FE-4W can be used to
transmit signals through networks when the rate keeps at 2 × 5.7 Mbit/s and the Ethernet lines
are extended to 2.6 km.
The RC1104-FE-4W adopts the serialization design, featuring high versatility and
intellectuality. Moreover, it is a modular device, characterized by high reliability, small size,
low power consumption, easy operation, and friendly maintenance. The RC1104-FE-4W can
be inserted into a 19-inch 3U standard RC002-16 chassis (providing 15 service slots) installed
in the rack. It can also be inserted into the single-slot chassis RC001-AC to work at the user
end independently. Through the NView NNM system, comprehensive configurations and
monitoring of local and remote devices can be realized.
1.2 Features
Support dual-line pair transmission with the wire diameter of 0.4 mm, and support the
transmission distance of 2.6 km at the rate of 2 × 5.7 Mbit/s and 4.3 km at the rate of 2 ×
2.3 Mbit/s.
The transmission rate can be adjusted according to the transmission distance and line
quality. The rate of each line pair ranges from 64 Kbit/s to 11392 Kbit/s.
Support ETH interface rate limiting, ETH interface performance statistics, and
G.SHDSL interface performance statistics.
The G.SHDSL interface supports EFM bonding.
The G.SHDSL interface supports Lineprobe and AutoPAM.
Support the maximum frame length of 1589 Bytes.
Support the transmission mode: full duplex and echo cancellation.
The user interface is 10/100 Mbit/s self-adaptive Ethernet interface.
Be easy in use and installation, and be able to configure and manage remote devices.
Support good heat dissipation, which can effectively lower the temperature.
