21.7 Alarm cables
21.7.1 Introduction
The alarm cable is used to connect alarm terminals to other devices for inputting or outputting
alarm signals. The alarm terminal of the iTN2100 is a 4-hole spring terminal.
21.7.2 PIN
Figure 21-13 shows pins of the alarm terminal.
You can connect the alarm cabe based on pins of the alarm terminal described in Table 21-10.

OUT
Cooperate with each other to output 1-way alarm signals. When
an alarm signal is output, the device connects PIN 1 and PIN 2
through the internal relay. When no alarm is output, PIN 1 and
PIN 2 are disconnected.

IN
Cooperate with each other to input 1-way alarm signals. The
device detects the connection status of PIN 3 and PIN 4. If it is
in closure state, it indicates that there is alarm signal input.

21.8 E1-CC3 cables
21.8.1 Introduction
The front panel of the OPCOM3500E-2STM1/4-M provides two CC3 interfaces for inputting
and outputting clock signals.
The front panel of the OPCOM3500E-3DS3/E3 provides three pairs of CC3 interfaces for
inputting and outputting DS3/E3 services.
21.8.2 Appearance
Figure 21-14 shows the E1-CC3 cable.
