Remove any dirt and dust and replace in the reverse order.
NOTE!
Take care when positioning the smoke deflector plate and baffle.
Then remove the baffle by lifting it and pulling it forwards.
Lift out the baffle.
Malfunctions
Smoke leakage around the door
This may be due to insufficient draught in the chimney <12 Pa
• check whether the flue or chimney are clogged up
• check whether the extractor hood is switched on, in which case, switch off the
extractor hood and open a window/door close to the stove for a short period.
Soot on the glass
Possible causes
• the fuel is too wet
• the damper adjustment is too low
Ensure the stove is heated up properly during lighting, before the door is closed.
Cleaning the flue
To access the flue, remove the vermiculite smoke deflector plate by removing the two
locking pins and pulling the plate forwards so it can be lifted out.
Remove the smoke detector plate by tilting it backwards and turning it at a slight angle.
Carefully lift it out.
