The PVmet-500can operate at two different baud rates, 9600 and 19200. Register characteristics are shown in Table 1.

The default baud rate is 9600. The baud rate can be optionally increased to 19,200 baud. Write either 9600 or 19200 to this register.
The baud rate change takes effect after a reboot or power cycle.
WIND SENSOR SELECTION (REGISTER 206)
The PVmet-500supports either the RainWise Miniaervane or ultrasonic wind sensor. The default selection for register 206 is a 0 which
is the RainWise Miniaervane. Writing a 1 to register 206 will enable ultrasonic wind sensor support.
