If the sound remains poor on the suspect loudspeaker after swapping location and the distortion
moves with the loudspeaker to the new location, the loudspeaker may be the problem. If the
distortion remains in the original location then the problem is elsewhere in your audio/video system.

Positioning the Loudspeakers
Mounting both loudspeakers on a common solid surface facing the listening area will provide the best
audio results.
Do NOT mount the loudspeakers on surfaces that have hazards such as electrical wires or plumbing
behind them. Be sure that your mounting surface is capable of supporting the weight of the
loudspeakers.
Mounting brackets are included for wall and ceiling applications. The loudspeakers have two standard
6.3 x 20 (¼”-20) brass inserts incorporated into the rear of the enclosure for aftermarket mounting
systems.
We recommend that you take the time to experiment with the different speaker placements. Sound
quality and imaging are widely dependent on the location of your loudspeakers as well as room
acoustics. Angling each loudspeaker toward the listening position often provides the most realistic
imaging experience. The amount of perceived bass increases as you move a loudspeaker closer to solid
intersecting room surfaces (wall, ceiling, floor).
