Pairing your DTA remote to your DTA box
Once your DTA is plugged in and your TV and DTA are powered on, you can
pair your DTA remote to your DTA box. Pairing the DTA remote to the DTA
box will allow you to use all functions of the DTA box, such as the “GUIDE”
and “MENU”.
Your DTA remote will work with your DTA right out of the box. However,
there are times when pairing a DTA remote to the DTA is necessary. For
example, if you would like to put your DTA behind your TV (out of line of
sight of the remote), you will need to pair the remote to the DTA.
Customers also need to pair the remote to the DTA if they have several TVs
that are close together to eliminate changing the channel on the wrong TV.
1. Put provided AA batteries in the remote.
2. Point remote at DTA.
3. Press and hold “SETUP” until the LED at the top of the
remote blinks twice and then press “MENU”
4. LED will blink continuously until paired.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete pairing.
