Attach the antenna to the top of the mast using the U-bolts, nuts, and lock
washers provided with the antenna.
6.
Attach a #10 GA (or larger) bare copper grounding terminal lug to one side
of the U-bolt.

7.
Route the ground wire along the mast and secure it to both the mast and the
side of the building using proper standoff insulators.
8.
Route the coaxial cable along the mast on the opposite side from the ground
wire. Secure the coaxial cable to both the mast and the side of the building
using the proper standoff insulators.
9.
Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the connector marked
“Antenna” on the coaxial surge arrestor.
10.
Mount the PolyPhaser coaxial cable surge arrestor to the wall of the building
near the floor. You can mount the surge arrestor on the outside of the wall
(see fig. 6), but make sure to waterproof the coaxial cables connected to it
(see fig. 4).
