Precautions for use of rechargeable batteries
◈ To ease the inconvenience of continuously purchasing alkaline batteries, the product is
supplied with four nickel hydrogen batteries. Two batteries are for installation in the
product, while the other two are for recharging. Alkaline batteries purchasable at a drug
store can also be used; however, they are not rechargeable and should not be placed in
the battery charger.
◈ Be sure to use the supplied battery charger for charging the nickel hydrogen batteries.
Fully charged batteries can last about 4 hours.
◈ When charging begins, orange light comes on the LED panel. When charging is
completed, the LED display goes off. Flashing of the LED display indicates that the life
of the rechargeable battery expires; you need to replace it.
◈ Be sure to separate the charger from the power outlet if you mount or dismount
batteries in it for recharging.
