IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALLER
Inspect the GP/XP/XR/SF Series Fan for shipping damage within 15 days of receipt. Notify
RadonAway of any damages immediately
. Radonaway is not responsible for damages incurred
during shipping. However, for your benefit, Radonaway does insure shipments.
There are no user serviceable parts inside the fan.
Do not attempt to open.
Return unit to factory
for service.
Install the GP/XP/XR/SF Series Fan in accordance with all EPA standard practices, and state
and local building codes and state regulations.
WARRANT Y
Subject to any applicable c ons um er protection legislation, RadonAway warrants that the GPX01/XP/XR/R P/SF Series F an (the “Fan”) will be free
from defects i n materials and workm ans hip for a period of 90 days from the date of purc has e (the “W arranty Term”).
RadonAway will repl ac e any F an which fails due to defec ts in materials or workm anship. The F an must be returned (at Owner’s c os t) t o t he
RadonAway factory . Any Fan returned to the factory will be dis carded unless the Ow ner provides specific instruc tions along with the Fan when it is
ret urned regardless of whether or not the Fan is actually replaced under this warrant y. Proof of purc has e must be supplied upon request for
serv ice under this Warranty.
This W arranty is c ontingent on installation of the F an in accordance with the ins tructions provi ded. This Warranty does not apply w here any
repairs or alt erations hav e been made or att em pted by others , or if t he unit has been abused or mis us ed. Warranty does not c ov er damage in
shipm ent unles s t he damage is due to the negligence of R adonAway.
5 YEAR EXT EN DED W ARRANT Y W IT H PROFESSIONAL IN ST ALLATION .
RadonAway will ext end the Warranty T erm of the f an to 5 years f rom date of manufacture if the Fan is ins talled in a profess ionally des igned and
profess ionally installed radon sys tem or ins talled as a replacement fan in a prof es sionally des igned and profess ionally installed radon sys tem.
Proof of purc has e and/or proof of profes sional ins tallation may be required for service under t his warranty. Outside the Continental United States
and C anada the ex tended W arranty T erm is lim ited to one (1) year from the date of manufacture.
RadonAway is not res pons ible f or installation, rem ov al or delivery c osts assoc iated with this W arranty.
EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, THE GPx01/XP/XR/RP/SF SERIES FANS ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL RADONAWAY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATING TO, THE FAN OR THE
PERFORMANCE THEREOF. RADONAWAY’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY HEREUNDER SHALL NOT IN
ANY EVENT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF SAID PRODUCT. THE SOLE AND
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE
PRODUCT, TO THE EXTENT THE SAME DOES NOT MEET WITH RADONAWAY’S WARRANTY AS
PROVIDED ABOVE.
For service under this Warranty, contact RadonAway for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and shipping
information. No returns can be accepted without an RMA. If factory return is required, the customer assumes all shipping
cost to and from factory.
