USING THE RADIO
To select a channel, press
CH

.
Hold

to rapidly change channels.
The selected channel number appears.
The automatic shut off timer automatically turns
off the radio if it is idle for 2 hours. Hold down
CH
while turning on the radio to enable or disable
the timer.
On
or
OF
(off) appears briefly.
Then, if the radio is idle for 2 hours,
OF
appears
steadily. Press any button to operate the radio
again.
OF
disappears and the last selected chan-
nel appears.
You can cause a tone to sound
on all radios tuned to the same
FRS channel (and quiet code, if
one is used) as your radio. Just
hold down
CALL
.
Note: Holding down
CALL
while
turning on the radio resets your
radio.

To talk, hold down
PUSH-
TO-TALK
until

then speak into the micro-
phone. Release
