Step 4 – Disconnect Current Printer (If one exists)

1. Press the power button to turn off the printer.

2. Disconnect the power cable from the power outlet and from the printer.

Step 5 - Connect New Printer / Load Software

For this portion, refer to the diagram provided on page 20. (Diagram – Rear View)

Place the printer in its designated area.

•

Connect the power cord to a power outlet. When possible, connect the (C6100) power cord to a

dedicated power outlet.

NOTE: It is recommended that you use the power cord shipped with the printer.

Windows Network Setup

1. Turn the printer OFF.

2. Remove the plastic cap from the LAN port

3. Connect the Ethernet cable between the printer and a spare port on the Ethernet hub or router.

3. Turn the Printer ON and wait for the status light

to stop blinking.

4. Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive. The CD will auto-run. If it doesn't, click

Start > Run >

Browse

Browse to your CD-ROM drive, double-click

Setup.exe
