INCOMING CALLS
When you subscribe to Caller ID service
from your phone company, the phone
company sends the caller’s phone num-
ber (and name, if available) and the call’s
time and date between the first and sec-
ond rings. Your CID receives and displays
this information for each call and updates
the current date and time. You cannot
manually set the date and time.
CALL
and the call indicator flash when
you have an incoming call, and the call
record appears for 20 seconds, then the
number of new calls appears. The LINE 1
or LINE 2 indicator flashes to show which
line received the call and continue to flash
until you review all calls.
NEW
flashes and the LINE 1 or LINE 2
indicator flashes to show that you have
received new calls since the last time
you reviewed the stored records.
