more than one FIPS
code into memory, be
sure the response

Otherwise, broadcasts
are only received for the
FIPS code you stored in
the first memory position
(
SINGLE
).

If severe weather is
imminent, do not wait for
an alert tone. Turn on
the weather broadcast
and monitor the weather
information.
•
If you slide ALERT ON/
OFF to OFF before
power up, the radio still
operates as in ALERT
ON mode, until user
slides the ALERT switch
to ON and then OFF
again.
