volume keys on your 7-in-One.
USING THE MACRO KEYS
The 7-in-One has two dedicated macro keys,
AUDIO
and
VIDEO
. Each lets you play back
a series of up to 15 keystrokes at any time
with a single keypress, in any mode. You can
also program almost any other key on the 7-
in-One as a macro key.
Note: When you program a key as a macro
key, its original function no longer operates.
Do not program device keys, digit keys,
P , or
as macro keys.
You can set up a maximum of 36 macros, 15
timed sequences (see “Setting Up Timed Se-
quences” on Page 32), or a combination of
both. For example, follow these steps to set
up a macro on
VIDEO
that turns on your
TV
,
VCR
, and satellite system so you can record
a program.
Note: If you make a mistake, press
ESCAPE
and start over at Step 1.
